                                                                      Service Ministries

    Communion for the sick:  Please call the Rectory, 837-8214,  when someone is unable to
    attend Mass for any length of time.

    Holy Name Society:  The Holy Name Society is a spiritual organization that is 700 years old.
    The St. Christopher Chapter was founded in 1950, and our patron is Blessed John of Vercelli.  
    Members meet monthly with Mass and breakfast meetings and endeavor to promote love,
    honor, and respect for the Name and Person of Jesus Christ.  They also assist in sponsoring the
    Radio Rosary Broadcast and host a radio broadcast once a month at St. Christopher Church.  
    Parishioners may apply for membership by contacting the rectory.  For more

    Knights of Columbus:  The Knights of Columbus is a premier national, Catholic, fraternal
    benefit society dedicated to the principles of charity, unity, fraternity, and patriotism.  The
    Knights provide Catholic men and their families opportunities for personal growth and
    fellowship through religious, educational, and charitable activities, offering assistance
    to member families and the surrounding community.  St. Christopher Council #4508
    meets at 7:30 p.m. on the first and third Thursdays of the month in the Parish Center.

    Mission Rosary Makers:  Rosaries are made with loving hands for hospitals, our military, as

    Church Leadership:
        Parish Council:  The Council directs the affairs of the parish and is comprised of all clergy
                 and representatives from each ministry/organization of the parish.  For more

        Parish Enrichment Group (PEG):  The mission of the Parish Enrichment Group is to
                 provide information and to help develop and foster essential programs that will arouse
                 curiosity, foster creativity, promote stewardship, and enhance the welfare of our church
                 and parishioners.  We encourage every individual to identify their distinct talents and to
                 become ambassadors who can help fulfill the needs of our community.  Contact

    Outreach:  The St. Christopher Outreach Organization is comprised of men and women who
    strive to grow spiritually by offering person-to-person service to individuals in need by providing
    food, rent, utility assistance, and other aid.  Food baskets are also distributed at Thanksgiving.   
    Meetings are held on the second Thursday of the month at 6 p.m.  Any adult interested in joining

St. Christopher Men's Club:  The St. Christopher Men's Club is a social and service
organization that is open to all men who live in and around St. Christopher Parish and want to
make an impact on the community and forge relationships that last for decades.  The Men’s Club
motto is “Serving God and Community.”  Throughout the year, the Men’s Club fulfills this motto
by offering their invaluable assistance in aiding other parish organizations with their events and
fund-raisers and by donating funds to those organizations.  Meetings are held on the fourth
Thursday of every month, during which the board discusses upcoming events and other club
business and a dinner prepared by our very own cooks is served.  Occasionally there is a guest
