Each month, the Knights of Columbus present this award to recognize a deserving family for their outstanding contributions to St. Christopher Parish and School.  The David and Clare Muscarello Family has been selected as the August 2022 Family of the Month.
Clare and David Muscarello have been married for twenty-eight years. Clare grew up in St Christopher Parish and together they have been parishioners for over fifteen years. David is a CPA employed as the Director of Accounting Services at the University of New Orleans. Clare is an accountant and Notary employed by MNS Ventures Inc. They are the proud parents of three daughters,: Morgan, Monica and Maren. All three girls are graduates of St. Christopher. Morgan is currently a junior at UL Lafayette majoring in Hospitality Management. Monica is about to begin her senior year while Maren will be starting eighth grade, both at St. Mary’s Dominican High School. While at St. Christopher, all three girls were honor roll students and participated in sports, student council, National Junior Beta Club, choir, and Girl Scouts. Clare served as membership chairperson for the St. Christopher Home and School club for over ten years. She also served as a room mother. Morgan was the youth representative on the 2019-2020 Parish Pastoral Council. Clare is currently Vice Chair of the Pastoral Council as well as Co-Chair of the upcoming parish fair. David is a longtime member of the St. Christopher Men’s Club where he served as treasurer for eight years. David has also volunteered his time to coach girls’ basketball for the past three seasons at St. Christopher and girls’ sports for many years at Cleary Playground.
The entire Muscarello Family has been generous with their time and talents and are the embodiment of Christian values.  We are so grateful for their tireless commitment to serving God within our parish and thank them for sharing their love and faith.  May God richly bless them!
