Boy Scout Troop 117:  Established in 1955, Troop 117 has a history of over 50 years of
service to Metairie and the surrounding community.  Holding that "Scouting is for all boys,"
boys 10 to 18 years of age and from all schools are eligible to join.  Troop 117 is dedicated to
having fun, learning new things, and opening an entire world of experience for our boys.  See
t117metairie.org for our calendar or contact David Eck, 838-668 or ecksherri@yahoo.com.

Boy Scout Troop 269:  Troop 269 was formed in 1964 with a belief that scouting is fun with
a purpose.  The goal of Troop 269 is to take boys and direct them into being well-rounded,
responsible young men by teaching responsibility, organization, leadership, and skills that will
prepare them for their adult life.  Most of the scouts attend St. Christopher School, but
attendance is open to all schools.  Being a very active troop, we camp at least eight times a
year, including a week-long summer camp.  We support St. Christopher Parish and the
community by performing many hours of service where our scouts learn the value of helping
others at all times.  For more information, please contact Gerald Roser, 885-4574 or
    roserg@cox.net.

St. Christopher Girl Scouts:  Girl Scouting builds "girls of courage, confidence, and
character, who make the world a better place."   The goal is to provide fun, safe activities
while promoting a high standard of values for girls, kindergarten through high school seniors.
